To book a custom fitting, you can call us directly or head to the Book a Fitting page on the website and select a day and time. We offer in-person and virtual fittings (world wide).

For new and returning customers, a personalised Fit Profile will need to be established. This can be done by booking a fitting either in-person in Melbourne or virtually(video call). Once we have your unique Fit Profile, all future Godwin Charli pieces will be made using your personal pattern. Please contact us if you have further questions.

Yes, our customer service team will be able to process your order over the phone in most cases. If you wish to use a payment method that cannot be accepted over the phone (ie. Afterpay) but can be accepted online, we will send you an invoice for digital payment and confirmation.

Absolutely, we have access to a wide range of fabrics from all over the world to select from. With careful guidance from the team, we will ensure the perfect cloth is selected for you. Exact matching of fabrics seen external to Godwin Charli can not be guaranteed.

Yes, but you must have had a Fit Profile set up first. The website only accepts customers with an up-to-date Fit Profile. Buying in general sizing is not possible. 

Simply create an account online, log in and add your preferred item(s) to the cart on the product page. The website will only allow you to add items to the cart if it recognises you (via the log-in process) as an existing customer with a current Fit Profile. A request to Book a Fitting will be prompted if you do not have a current Fit Profile stored on our system.

If you purchase made to measure garments in person, we will coordinate any alterations required at the second fitting at no extra charge.

For all virtual consultations and purchases, alterations will be coordinated by us once we determine what is needed to be done at the virtual second fitting. A reputable local tailor will be coordinated next to you at no extra charge.

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, please contact us by email, phone or in store. Faulty items will be reviewed for repair, replacement, credit note or refund. As all of our items are one-of-a-kind, we cannot provide a refund for a change of mind. In this circumstance we will be happy to provide you with a credit note for the value of your purchase.

Godwin Charli suiting, jackets, pants, waistcoats and overcoats should be dry-cleaned only. Shirting should be cold machine washed or dry-cleaned only.


3 - 14 years. However, we can also produce garments made-to-measure if your child does not fit into the standard sizing. Additional costs will apply.

Yes! Childrenswear can be ordered online using your child’s age for the size. Please note, it’s important you read the product detail for product availability. Some children’s products are available now for immediate delivery whilst other products are Made To Order only, requiring 4 weeks to deliver. If you are unsure about sizing, please contact us and we will determine the best fit for your child.

No worries, we can exchange for the correct size.


We aim to deliver all of our garments within 4 to 5 weeks from the order being placed. Occasionally, there will be delays that are out of our control (due to fabric availability, international holidays, shipping delays etc). In these situations we will keep you well informed, and endeavor to deliver your garments as quickly as possible.

All of our garments require a 4-5 week production time frame to be made. If you require your garment sooner, then the production timeline stated, please contact us directly via the enquiry page on our website. Please include the requested due date. 

This is subject to our production capacity and requires approval by the Godwin Charli team prior to placing the order. An additional fast track fee may apply if your order falls outside the production schedule. 

Please note that fast tracking your garment only speeds up the production time and not the postage and delivery time.

Delivery on orders to the Melbourne Showroom is 4-5 weeks from the time the order is placed. 

All interstate deliveries will be shipped via Australia Post Express once received in Melbourne. 

All international orders will be sent directly from our tailors to your door using our preferred shipping company. Tracking details will be provided.

Different terms and conditions may apply for different shipping destinations. On the off chance that there is a delay with your order, the Godwin Charli team will contact you directly.

For your security, the billing name and address must match the credit card or other method used for payment. Godwin Charli reserves the right to cancel any order that does not comply with this or with our other security criteria.

We accept all major credit cards, Afterpay, Paypal, EFTPOS and Cash.

If you receive a notification that your credit, debit card or other payment method has been declined, please contact your issuing bank or payment provider. Before doing so, please ensure that: The card details or payment information entered are correct. The 3 or 4-digit security number is correct Your credit card has not expired Ensure that the billing address matches the credit card or payment method used for payment
