An evening of fashion, food & standout entertainment was highlighted by the Godwin Charli Men's & Women's Spring/Summer 2012 runway show. The aniticaption & build-up was met post show with rave reviews & many style ideas for the upcoming season. 

 

Godwin Charli recently celebrated it's 5th birthday in style at the exclusive Adam bar, behind Eve nightclub. In attendance were staff, friends & supporters of the business, all dressed in GC swagger, who have been a part of the growth & sucess since 2007. Thank you to everyone involved who made the night a great success and we look forward to our next 5 year celebration! 

Spring Racing fashion has gone to another level this season with the launch of the Godwin Charli Mens Spring/Summer 2012 Collection. With a focus on traditional tailoring and a mix of contemporary style and fabrics, the results have been unanimously applauded. The breadth of the collection allows for a vastly different outfit for each and every day of the Carnival – from colour on Melbourne Cup Day, to traditional black and white on Derby Day. There is a style and garment to suit any race goer.

Creative Director, Godwin Hili, gives his thoughts on the Spring/Summer Collection:

"It's all about putting your own personal stamp on your look. Embrace the clash of different textures this season, taking the edge off formal suiting and playing with separate jackets and trousers. Throw in to the mix bold and eclectic pocket hankies that work together with silk, linen or cotton ties. Make the shoes a feature by keeping them classic but attempting 2 tone or navy. And remember, think versatility – jacket on or jacket off, the look works for many occasions this spring/summer season".

In preparation for the event, made-to-measure & exclusively designed outfits were produced for both Sir Richard Branson, Founder of the Virgin Group, and Tim Ferris, New York Times best selling author and king blogger.
